Inconsistent Hole Size
If you have purchased a rainbow bead kit, you may find that some of your holes are small and it is hard to get them onto all four strands of your thread. There is a very simple solution when this happens, you just need to remove one of the four threads and secure it with glue.
When we last left you, you were sliding on your first few beads onto your practice or real strand. This is likely where you realized some of your holes were too small to get onto all four threads. If you found this to be the case, please follow the below steps.
1. Find at least 3-4 beads that are able to fit over all four strands of thread, and string those on first to begin your strand.
2. Hand knot those first few beads to secure your strand. After making those initial knots, watch the below video to see you how to remove one strand of the thread and secure it with glue.
3. Pull out one of the loose lengths of thread from the eye of the needle. This thread should still be inside of the last bead on your strand.
4. Add on the rest of your beads to the remaining three strands.
5. Separate the new and old beads. They should have the loose end of thread between them.
6. Apply your GS Hypo Cement inside and along its edge of the last bead with all four strands of thread in it.
7. Let glue dry for 20 minutes.
8. Trim off the tail of the fourth strand of thread.
9. Continue knotting as before with three strands of thread inside of the remaining beads. Be careful not to move the bead with the glue inside of it while you make the next knot.
If after doing this, you find your knots are too small:
Make sure you have pulled them taught up against the last bead.
